Find Help, Find Hope!

Spring Events 2018

Spring is here and so are our NAMI classes and support groups!

As always, NAMI has free individual and family support groups every Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. at NAMI BV Office.

NAMI is hosting Mental Health First Aid for Youth on Saturday, April 14th from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm at our location in Brenham.

A “Meet the Author” night as a Help and Hope Seminar on Thursday, April 19th at 6:00 pm. Maya Lazarus will be speaking about her book “Through the Rabbit Hole”, the deeply personal and candid experience of her family’s roller coaster ride to find an appropriate diagnosis and treatment for their daughter.

NAMI Basics is starting up again on Wednesday, April 25th at 6:30 pm.  NAMI Basics is a free, 6-week educational program for parents and family caregivers of children and teens who are experiencing symptoms of a mental illness or have already been diagnosed.

And to close out the month of April, NAMI BV will join with Rock Prairie Behavioral Health as both Bryan and College Station Mayoral Offices proclaim that “May is Mental Health Awareness Month!” The event will be on April 30th at 1:00 pm at the NAMI BV Office.

For May, NAMI BV has their Whole Body Mental Health annual luncheon at the First United Methodist Church in Bryan on Thursday, May 24th at 11:30 am. It is a free luncheon but donations are appreciated.

We hope you will come out and join us at one of these many events!
