Mental Health Awareness Month
At the request of the President of the United States, Governor Abbott, the World Health Organization, and the CDC, we regrettably have to cancel our Mental Health Awareness Luncheon in May. Please be on the lookout for additional ways you can continue supporting our local efforts for mental wellness. We deeply apologize for any inconvenience this may have, and greatly appreciate your understanding in this matter.

5th Annual Mental Health Awareness Luncheon
Join us for our 5th Annual Mental Health Awareness Luncheon on May 21st, 2020 at 11:30am at First United Methodist Church – Bryan. This year’s program will feature inspiring individuals and family members with lived experiences associated with mental health; as well as community members that have a passion for ending the stigma associated with mental health. This event free to attend; however, donations are always appreciated. Proceeds from the event will go towards funding NAMI-BV’s free mental health support and education offered throughout the year.
The mission of NAMI-Brazos Valley is to promote the mental health of individuals, families and our community through support, education and advocacy. NAMI offers free support groups and free education for peers living with mental illness and their families, mental health crisis intervention and prevention training to teachers, police officers, jailers and others, offers veteran resources…and much more!
Thank you for your support!
