Mental Health First Aid Instructor Training Offered

Public Safety and Adult Version Mental Health First Aid Instructor Training

NAMI Brazos Valley is hosting a Mental Health First Aid Instructor training in Bryan, TX for those in public safety. This 40-hour “train the trainer” course is offered to train an individual to be an instructor, which means that they can then certify other individuals themselves. Certified Instructors will be able to provide 8 hours TCOLE credits to each individual they train in Mental Health First Aid.

Just as CPR can help those without clinical training to assist an individual having a heart attack, Mental Health First Aid prepares participants to interact with a person experiencing a mental health crisis.
